All Are Welcome!

Saint Anthony Novena

Our preacher for the Saint Anthony Novena this year is Fr. Ronan Murphy. The novena will be held as usual every evening from June 5th to June 13th beginning at 7:00p. The closing Mass on Tuesday, June 13th, the Feast of Saint Anthony, will include a Ceremony of Family Enthronement to the Divine Mercy.

This is the enthronement of the individual family to the Divine Mercy that our Lenten Mission Preacher, Fr. Dermot Roach strongly encouraged as a means of healing, uniting, and protecting the family unit in today's chaotic world. By enthroning the family to Divine Mercy, we place Jesus on His throne of mercy as King and Ruler of all our family members past, present, and future. You will remember the amazing fruits of this devotion as described by Fr. Roach. A certificate of enthronement will be given to every family that participates as a perpetual record of this moment.

Everyone is welcome to our Saint Anthony Novena!

2017 Mass Book is NOW OPEN

Due to the size of our Parish and the number of requests for Masses, it has become necessary that we place a limit on Announced Masses (i.e., Masses celebrated here at St. Peter Church where you know the date and time of the Mass) requested at the time of book opening.

This limit is ten (10) Masses. In fairness to all Parishioners, you may request five (5) of those 10 Masses for the same time, e.g. Saturdays at 5:00p, Sundays at 9:00a, etc. We also offer a multiple Mass intention at the principal Mass on Sunday at 10:30a. The donation for an announced Mass is $15.00.

There is no limit on the number of unannounced Masses (Masses offered for our loved ones, but without a specific date or time). The donation for an unannounced Mass is $10.00.

This policy is necessitated as a result of people who might request 30 to 40 Masses at the opening of the Mass Book each year. We are fortunate to have so many Masses celebrated here each year, but 30 to 40 Masses requested per individual quickly fills the Book. Hence, by mid-Spring to early-Summer our book is almost full. Thus, if Parishioners die during mid-year to year-end, there are no announced Masses available for two years from their death and this is greatly upsetting to the surviving members of the family.

You are kindly asked to remember the Holy Souls in Purgatory with unannounced Masses or if you wish you may consider the Purgatorial Society Enrollment which offers a monthly Mass for their happy repose. You may also enroll your loved ones by name in the Purgatorial Society. The donation is $25.00 per enrollment.

We are doing all that is humanly possible to accommodate everyone. Thank you for your kind cooperation in this matter!

Christmas Bazaar

This year, the Saint Peter School Christmas Bazaar will be held Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd. This event is not only a major fundraiser for the school, but it is also a time-honored tradition. Come out to shop at one of our fantastic vendors, have a delicious meal or baked good, and take a few chances on our fabulous silent auction baskets!

Every year, the Silent Auction committee requests donations from our local businesses and parishioners, as well as school parents, to help create our silent auction baskets. We are always looking for donations of items you no longer want or need, such as baskets, gift cards, basket filler (newspaper or red or green shredded paper), cash, or any other unused or gently-used items you think someone might be excited to win. Please spread the word ... any and all donations are greatly appreciated!
