The Altar & Rosary Society
The primary purpose of the Altar & Rosary Society is to praise and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and to secure her patronage by the recitation of the Rosary for the mutual spiritual benefit of all the members throughout the world. The society provides weekly care and upkeep of the main church, the Sanctuary, and the Adoration Chapel. Members also support the needs of the Rosary Society and Church at large. The Altar & Rosary Society meets six (6) times a year in April, May, September, October, November, and December.
The Altar & Rosary Society of Saint Peter is a time-honored tradition of the parish. The Society donated the stained-glass window of the Assumption when the church was rebuilt / renovated in 1957.
Today, the Altar & Rosary Society still also maintains the altar, altar cloths, and vestments and continues to support our parish and community.
If you would like to belong to a viable and vital organization of St. Peter's, we invite you to come to our next meeting to learn more about the Society and meet our members. Membership is open to any woman of the Parish who is 18 years of age or older. We look forward to meeting you! Are you a Rosarian who has been away for awhile? Please come back! Come to our next monthly meeting. We look forward to seeing you!
